AAC certification program issues first certificates

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials’ (IAPMO) Systems Certification Body (SCB) has issued the first certificates under the Aluminum Anodizers Council’s AAC certification program. The certificates were presented Oct. 7 during AAC’s 35^th annual Anodizing Conference & Exposition in Cincinnati.

The program provides third-party verification that finished anodized products meet defined performance requirements. SCB and AAC entered an agreement Sept. 18, 2025, covering audit development and administration of the certification scheme.
