Novelis Bay Minette produces first cold mill coil

Novelis produced the first coil on the cold mill at its Bay Minette plant in Alabama, the company said.

The milestone moves Novelis Bay Minette further into commissioning ahead of commercial shipments planned for the second quarter of 2027. The timing remains consistent with Novelis’ previous guidance for commercial shipments to begin in its first fiscal quarter of 2028, which runs from April through June 2027.
