A Luxembourg court withdrew an order blocking a potential sale of Ardagh Metal Packaging, allowing Ardagh Holdings to resume preparations.

The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) has filed a notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, challenging the district court’s decision to uphold Oregon’s version of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws that are popping up across the country.

Under the agreement, the two companies will work to develop solutions for fragrance, makeup, and skincare packaging whose carbon footprint will approach 3.0 kilograms of CO₂ equivalent per kilogram of aluminium by 2030.

The Chicago-based company acquired the rolling mill earlier this year from Novelis, roughly nine months after the plant was idled.

Ardagh Metal Packaging operates 23 metal beverage can production facilities and recorded sales of about $5.5 billion in 2025.

Constellium raised its 2026 guidance, now expecting adjusted EBITDA in the range of $980 million to $1 billion

Ardagh Metal Packaging upgraded its full–year 2026 EBITDA guidance to a range of between $775 million–$790 million, as the second quarter saw growth driven by Europe.

Canovation this month announced a collaboration with Canpack, a global packaging manufacturer, to help bring its CanReseal technology toward commercialization and pilot-scale deployment.

The upgrades are expected to increase capacity by up to 75,000 metric tons, the company said in an announcement.
