A Luxembourg court has withdrawn an order that had blocked the Ardagh Metal Packaging sale process, allowing parent Ardagh Holdings S.A. to resume preparations for a potential transaction.
A summary judge of the Luxembourg district court withdrew the order Oct. 14. The restriction had prevented Ardagh Holdings from selling all or part of its interest in Ardagh Metal Packaging S.A. (AMP).
Alcoa expects two other unnamed sites to follow the Massena East sale.
The shipment was part of an offtake agreement between private investment group Heeney Capital, Mercuria Energy Group and the Venezuelan government.
