C&C Marine and Repair, a Louisiana marine vessel manufacturer, is launching an aluminum fabrication division.
The new division will be led by Darren Bolotte. A third-generation welder and fabricator, Bolotte previously owned and operated Aluma Marine & Fabrication for more than 23 years, the company said.
Fagor Ederlan opened a secondary aluminum plant in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, with 12,000 metric tons of initial annual capacity and plans to triple production capacity.
ClearFlow Metalworks plans a $28 million aluminum billet casting facility in Kentucky, with initial annual casting capacity of 100,000 tons.
