Norsk Hydro secured natural gas for its alumina refinery in Brazil after a supply disruption, but the company expects the disruption to affect fourth-quarter results.
In August, Alunorte’s gas supplier, Celba, could not fulfill its deliveries, forcing Hydro to purchase natural gas on the spot market.
