China trailer duties advance after USITC injury vote

The US International Trade Commission found imports of Chinese van-type trailers and subassemblies materially injured the US industry in a Sept. 25 decision.

The Commerce Department had already determined the products were sold in the US at less than fair value and subsidized by China. As a result, Commerce will issue antidumping and countervailing duty orders on covered Chinese imports.
